Devon & Cornwall Joint Branch YMN

Friday 21^st November 2008, was the first of this year’s Young Member’s Network (YMN) site visit. The Tour was organised around the facilities of Babcock Marine (Devonport) and Princess Yachts International (Newport Street).

The site visit explored the build and fitout of the new RNLI Tamar Class Lifeboat, the fabrication of an aluminium superstructure for a 96-metre Motoryacht, and the build and fitout of a selection of Princess Motoryachts, including the 28-metre flagship.

All graduate and student members enjoyed the day.
